In collaboration with FUSE, we created a new Fluorescence activity and taught the activity at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art (SBMA). Students learn about the science of why things glow under UV lights and get to make a mini fluorescent lava lamp.
Click here to read more about the event. -------------------------------------------------------------------- We tested a newly updated LaserComm activity at the local science museum (MOXI). The new activity is easier to use and more engaging! It uses a Laser/LED, numerous light-guiding components, and some electronics to send music with light! Read more about the new activity here.
